This special Button Auction showcases the remarkable collection of Don and Barbara Lanier of Florida, along with an exceptional selection from the collection of Lou Yeargain of Missouri and many others. Prepare to feast your eyes on an extraordinary array of 18th‑century buttons, stunning enamels including plique-à-jour, luminous pearls, several lots of Bethlehem, whole cards of animal life, baskets, fabulous picture buttons, Bakelite, celluloid, hand‑painted casein Brooks, clear and colored glass, black glass, and so much more-truly everything a collector could imagine.
We are also proud to feature 20 lots of the famed 3rd Ave. Silver Buttons, made legendary by the late Don Lanier and offered directly from his personal collection.
This auction will be online during the second week of October and open for bidding until the final days of the live event. Below, you’ll find more than 50 preview images highlighting just a portion of the wonderful buttons included.
