Claire P. Cohen’s bright, expressive works explore the roles of patterns and color in bringing joy and creating positive change in the world. In her artwork, Cohen merges her background in mathematics and art, bringing her signature patterns to life. A long time Florida resident and environmentalist, Cohen incorporates recycled materials in her work to draw attention to the ocean’s ecosystems. Cohen is best known for her colorful paintings on recycled surfboards and discarded architectural elements.
